Once again Scott Kirby weaves his classic wit and contemprary beach folk style into songs that one must sing along to. The upbeat, touching song "The Sun Never Came Up" is a tribute to Carl Wilson and features Beach Boy-like background vocals by Peter Mayer. This CD has something for everyone on it: humor, ballads and catchy, hooky songs.

Scott's songwriting is superb, as is his singing... A collection like this just doesn't come along often. Scott Kirby is a star who belongs in the same firmament with James Taylor.

What a great mixture of songs! I am a Scott Kirby fan and this is my favorite of his CDs. If you like ballads, you will love "All Roads Lead to You." The title song speaks to way of life we should all aspire to lead. All in all, Walkin on Thin Ice is just a great piece of work that I listen to as much as any other CD I own.
